Hey Moon(light)ers,
A friend of mine celebrated his birthday yesterday. Happy birthday, Jules. Incidentally, I also celebrated the anniversary of my arrival here in Australia. Happy Anniversary, me. And then I remember - Valentine’s Day is coming up too. Happy Valentine’s Day! So what is this need for celebrations? I wonder.
For this podcast episode, I want to discuss why it’s important to commemorate milestones with a remembrance or a party. I want to focus on these three main celebrations - Birthdays, Anniversaries, and Valentine’s Day.
The Birthday Beat - Celebrating Life's Milestones
Birthdays aren't just about cake and presents; they're about acknowledging the incredible journey each person has taken. They're a chance to say, 'I see you, I celebrate you, and I'm grateful you're in my life.' The significance of birthdays is that they serve as markers of individual growth and milestones.
~ A celebration of life: Birthdays mark the anniversary of our birth and are a reminder of the gift of life. They are a time to celebrate our existence and appreciate the journey we have taken so far.
~ A milestone of growth and change: Each birthday represents another year of growth, learning, and experiences. It's a time to reflect on the past year, acknowledge our accomplishments, and look forward to the future.
