Great post Anna!

And I'd like to say...

This hit me in a way I didn't expect.

The storm wasn't just the sky.

It was everything inside her.

The weight she carried.

The lines she knew by heart.

And what she didn't see coming...

Was what she thought she was ready for.

Still caught her off guard.

But...the way you built it...

The coffee.

The bay window.

The covers.

And then...

The thunder.

And suddenly...

Everything she planned...

Didn't matter.

Because the real storm?

It was never in the sky.

It was in the silence before he spoke.

And in the silence after.

Winter is here.

And something changed.

Forever.

Thanks for the very observant insight, Aaqiel. Yes, there was a storm inside of her that none of the people around her knew, especially her husband. Her storms were invisible to others’ eyes, and only she can see, can feel. You can just imagine how tumultuous it was for her.

This is the kind of winter we don’t want in our lives. 🥲
